Little Emily suffocated in the recovery room. David’s investigation proved that medical records had been altered and, of the dozen or so medical providers involved, all seemed to have had sudden lapses of memory. Our typically thorough review of records and reliance upon experts with national reputations led to a record settlement amount for a child in a Wyoming wrongful death action.
I called the district attorney in Rock Springs, and asked why the intoxicated driver who struck and killed my husband on a county road running through our ranch was not going to be prosecuted. The D.A. told me, ‘I have lived in this county all my life, and this man has never had a DUI, and we are not going to prosecute him.’ ”
In truth, a search of law enforcement records revealed that the driver had five prior DUI convictions. We settled the case for the highest award ever received in Wyoming for an elderly person.
David has vast litigation experience in personal injury actions. Through pre-trial settlements or jury verdicts, several of his recent awards have been in the seven figures. He has extensive experience in medical malpractice, engineering and design failure, automobile accidents, highway trucking accidents, railway train collisions, catastrophic injuries from oil and gas rig or pipeline explosions, hazardous waste catastrophes, and premises liability.

I COAXED MY LITTLE EMILY TO THE SURGICAL ROOM FOR A TONSILLECTOMY. BOTH OF US WERE CRYING AND HANGING ON TO EACH OTHER. The nurse said, 'don't worry, mom, we'll take care of her.’ ”
